ACM Bearing is a high-performance composite material made by layering a compound of specialty polyester resin, precision fibers, and additives.
This advanced composite dramatically improves physical and chemical properties, offering high load capacity, a low coefficient of friction, and excellent chemical resistance — all while being lighter and more economical than metal. The manufacturer operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and some ACM bearing grades hold approval scope from classification societies such as KR, DNV, ABS, BV, and CCS. For actual applications, the specific grade and its valid certification scope should be confirmed. It is widely used in ships, bridges, nuclear/thermal power plants, pumps, automotive, and construction equipment.

Static compressive strength up to 375 N/mm² and dynamic strength of 100 N/mm² make it a proven replacement for bronze bushings.
A dry friction coefficient of 0.13–0.15 enables oil-free operation.
Minimal heat transfer preserves hardness, delivering excellent wear resistance.
Water absorption below 0.15% ensures high dimensional stability and precision tolerances.
A low coefficient of thermal expansion allows precision-tolerance designs that reduce shaft vibration.
Grades are available for dry, grease, oil, and submerged environments, selected by load, speed, temperature, and mating-surface conditions.
Charpy impact strength of 100 kJ/m² combined with excellent corrosion resistance for environmentally friendly operation.
Low-vibration, low-noise operation with responsive inventory support and rapid custom manufacturing.
