POLY STAR produces and supplies standard and special-spec machined seals through a specialized machined-seal manufacturing network, using CNC machining without the need for molds.
Unlike molded seals stamped out with injection or compression molds, machined seals are cut from rod or sheet stock on a lathe or mill to the exact cross-section and dimensions required. With no tooling to build, even small quantities can be produced in a relatively short lead time, and out-of-catalog sizes or parts for discontinued equipment can be reviewed for feasibility based on drawings, samples, and operating conditions.
