PEEK (polyether ether ketone) is a high-performance engineering plastic that retains most of its mechanical properties even near its melting point (roughly 343°C). Rod and tube stock is precision-machined into seal jackets, back-up rings, thrust washers, and wear rings, with glass or carbon fiber blended in to tune stiffness, wear resistance, and friction for the application.
Maintains dimensional stability above 250°C.
