POLY STAR offers a wide variety of designs and sizes of pneumatic seals to suit different operating conditions.

Materials

PU (Polyurethane)NBRPTFE

Working Principle & Structure

A pneumatic seal prevents compressed air from leaking as the piston and rod of a pneumatic cylinder move back and forth. It works on the same self-energizing principle as a hydraulic seal, but is designed with low-friction materials and a thinner profile for a lower maximum pressure rating (typically up to 16 bar), favoring lightweight, high-speed operation.

Piston Seal

Piston seals for pneumatic cylinders, optimized for low-friction, low-pressure environments.

Rod Seal

Seals and protects the rod section of pneumatic cylinders from contaminants.
